In 18 days I start my week-long trip through Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Belgium, France, and Luxembourg. It's a lot of ground to cover and honestly, there is not much time to cover it. Sometimes it's like that though.
Obviously we all wish we could possess the ability to travel non-stop. Unfortunately, that ability rarely manifests itself. There will always be responsibilities back home, wherever home is. Pets, jobs, debts, family, friends, and comfort are just a few of the things that will always end up making traveling for any great deal of time hard.
That being said, I like to travel as much as possible. Even if it's just for a short period of time or to somewhere local. You don't have to fly out to another country every single time. Sometimes a simple two day camping trip to some national forest three hours from me is enough to clear my mind. The idea that travelling has to be difficult, expensive, and overly lengthy is deceiving.
I hope to help a lot of you get out of your hometown more often, even if just for a while. It's really not so hard.
If you're reading this go ahead and respond with somewhere in the world you would like to go and the reasons behind why you haven't gone yet. Let's get to the bottom of it together!
